Coincidence with the first operation of traditional boat made by residents of Untung Jawa Island, Seribu Islands, on the upcoming Saturday (10/10), the boat's radio call will also be tested.

Head of Seribu Islands Industry and Energy Sub-Department, Melinda Sagala stated radio call is one of supporting safety tools of boat.
"The boat operation as well as radio call use tested is coincidence with the RPTRA inauguration on the upcoming Saturday (10/10)," she explained, Thursday (10/8).
She uttered, the test will be conducted in front of 50 Untung Jawa Island fishermen thus they could understand the important of radio call for sailing safety.
"Frequency range of the radio is until Papua. So we just need to press SOS button, police will know our coordinate," she disclosed.
She added, her side will coordinate with Seribu Islands Communications, Informatics, and Public Relations Sub-Department to help socializing the important of radio call.
